For Sale Inland Empire, CA 1997 LC front and rear lockers craigslist $3800 salvage title

I'm not selling this but I just went to check it out and am I crazy for passing on it for $3800? Lost of body damage as the seller disclosed and it runs fine just registered and passed smog in Feb. I checked for codes and sensors and all was good.

It needs tires bad and some exhaust repair. Has some body filler cracks in the driver quarter panel where it was hit and repaired. Seats/interior are dirty but only the driver is ripped. Has the oil pan leak with a small amount on the ground after sitting for about 4 hours. Service records are not very detailed so I would want to do a complete servicing. I offered $3400 but he was true to the ad and firm on the price.

ok price if lockers work. spend 250 on a good detail and you may feel better about it. ask seller to claim lower sale price for taxes and it's not too bad for a beater. spend 1k on a cheap white paint job and take it camping on the weekends. if you can work on it yourself do the head gasket, oil pan etc
