Thanks Man!

Looks awesome!

Thanks, I just took it down to New Mexico for some wheelin in a sweet rock/sandstone playground and I have to say, this was the first serious wheelin (not just in the woods) that I have done in a 60 and Ingrid did GREAT. Aussie in the back really helps I think. Did rub a tiny bit though with the 15x10's but 15x8's are inbound! It'll still be a Black & Tan (I love that nominclature)

Very nice rig indeed. I would how ever kept the wheels cromed. Accents the other crome on the bumpers and makes it looks more classic ;) BTW I see no rust on this truck was it always like this?

I am looking for some rust free rear body parts are there any in this area?

It happened to my truck before I got it. It had extended shackles. Shackles act like pry-bars during articulation. The longer they are, the greater the mechanical advantage.
i still don't see it as a common occurance. i've only seen warn rivets on shackle hangers a few times. i've seen sheared bolts on body lifts a few times. and the shackle hanger is something you should notice during maintenance.

nope

No, it was not always this way, it had extensive rust in rear wheel wells which I dropped $2k on to fix (along with a large love-tap on the pass. rear quarter and the paint work) It has some cancer here and there but she cleans up nice.

Classic Cruisers in Buena Vista is prob. a good source for metal
