Anyone here own one? I just purchased one was reading the manual and it talks about a "service valve" and how one should use it to bleed of air after shutting it down. The manual does not show the location of the service valve. My neighbor who owns a bigger model could not locate it either but he has one on his Ingersoll Rand Compressor. Any ideas?

Should be at the very bottom of the tank, so when you bleed it off it blows all the accumulated water out as well.

No. That's called a drain valve. My manual mentions both the drain valve and the service valve.

The bottom ball valve was the one I opened every night when the shop shut down. You can also pull the ring on the pressure relief pop off to let off most of the pressure, but you let the water drain out when you shut it down for the night. Those were the only two valves on the big IR compressor.

drain valve

Can anyone tell me where i can get a drain valve for a Ingersoll-Rand 3.3 air compressor? thanks
