info on what throttle cable to use V8 (1 Viewer)

just looking for info on what you guys use for the throttle cable on a v8 conversion (carbed). almost got my truck back together . and the one i have is not the greatest when the body really flexs it pulls on the throttle cable increasing engine rpm at an undesirable time . pics please ,thanks
 
I used the original I6 cable, then picked up a kit from AZ that has the little barral connectors to stake the end.

I got the Lokar Stainless Braided Cable. Its a universal 24 inch that I cut down to the size I needed (still had over 12 inches left). More$$ but looks cool and will last. I'd been driving around with a jimmie-rigged cable for too long. You can find them for around $30 on ebay.
 
Autozone, one of those chrome cables for a hot rod. $25 It is adjustable.
