I'm looking for a car amplifier I can use to power a (donated to me, used) 12" sub I have. I'm not looking to blow out the windows... just add some low end in the 60. I'll have the sub mounted in a plywood side cargo panel (just behind the passenger side rear seat near the wheel well)

The sub wants 200w. I'd want something physically small as I'd like to mount it behind the cargo side panel next to the sub. I don't need any bells and whistles and I want to spend WAY under $100. Asking alot? Maybe, but that's all I have to throw at the sound system in the truck.

I was looking at this for about $66 delvered:
PIONEER GM3300T 2 CHANNEL AMPLIFIER :: CAR AMPS (2 CHANNEL) :: Car Amplifiers :: AUTOTOYS

Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome. I am not against buying used (I posted a WTB in the MUD-bay classifieds)

Thanks...Mark

I ran a similar amp

I had a jensen 300w 125w rms give or take powering a pair of 10's in a full size pick up and I was happy for a couple of years until it gave up the ghost
for the price you arent gonna find a better deal on craigslist unless you get lucky.
I recently embarked on a journey for a new amp for Boat and FJ
and seriously looked at craigslist and online for a month. nothing
interesting or reasonably priced popped. So I bought a new amp
for stupid rediculous money.
This amp is a good deal. will probably be enough. but more is always better.

You've tried Crutchfield right? Its all new stuff, but their support is great. IF you do buy new, look there first.
