Made by whom? Price ?

Since there are too many variables to have a “default threshold” I would rather not mess up my dash. I think this comes from seeing too many things glued (temporarily) or velcroed to dashes and the dash being ruined. This is merely my own preference and I don’t mean to run down this mod, merely saying that I would rather get a vent mount for the iPhone and use it if I needed an inclinometer.

Any info on source/price for the instrument cluster? How you wired it? Installation tips?

TIA
This is from and Toyota FJ Cruiser. I installed it on the speaker cover. Easy wires for power since the stereo has tons of hot wires. I will leave it there. You can buy them used or new on eBay. You will need the wiring harness, also.

this is installed on the speaker cover.

I placed one of these in my g wagon. The one I got felt like cheap chinese garbage. I think it was like $8. Currently installed my 10" 2-in-1 tablet (lenovo yogabook android) on top of speaker grill for watching movies/playing music. I am going to check for an inclinometer app that works on a tablet in landscape mode.

My 0.5 cents-
You mentioned finding an app.
-Plenty of apps like this one:

Only worry I think of is giving a newer driver a false sense of security that they are safe if they just watch their inclinometer. Nice smooth slants are one thing, but even a small bump, dip, lurch or bounce and suddenly that tip point changes big time. Maybe featureless slants like this one in my truck earlier this year, but most aren’t like this-

Most happen eith a nudge...an abrupt stop to a sideways slide...too much gas...too much brake...or trying to turn away from the roll (like the near-roll posted in another thread)...

I recall Ken @Romer wisely reminded everyone as many of us descended a CRAZY-SPOOKY tip-spot last Spring, “Don’t brake Hard when you get tippy!”

I'm getting tippy just trying to find the app...where is it??

Thanks!!

Sorry!

Here’s the link, though there are a ton out there. Not necessarily endorsing this one in particular...but it does work well on iOS:
