We do need to find a good paint for the numbers, and Keith needs to put a PTO on the TC to turn the bingo ball.:hillbilly:

Keith, I think its time for action, if you don't build something you won't find out if it works or not.

It's DONE!
Final nail in the coffin came today when I realized that there was no way for me to run that pick up remotely.
I be doing chop shops wanky ass, ghetto in line set up. Gonna get a parts list together and move on.

Kinda liberating a actually. :)

Flip side to that is how sturdy those aerospace systems are. Running out of fuel or having the pickup fail during aerobatic maneuvers tends to make the news.. Running out of gas on a Rockcrawling trail doesn't ;)

Chicago, just flip for the Walboros..

Walbros in lieu of the sump?
Im considering the airtex E8248 for the pump as its reasonable, and the pressure needed matches.

Given the baffles inside, What would be the best way to run the walbros? 1 to the front, 2 at the rear? 4 in the corners?
I guess THAT needs to be determined BEFORE I do anything else. Im finding I did this backwards....Should have had this stuff in place prior to building the tank.

I've got some info for you which is a moot point now that you've decided on an external pump. This info is for anybody that already has, or is considering a sock style pickup in the tank.

That fuel sock on the pump is a potential problem down the road a few years. The 90's era GM diesel pickups and Suburbans have that pickup sock and many are now experiencing problems with them plugging up. The only way to access them is by dropping the tank or taking off the bed. What many are doing to rectify this is by permanently removing the sock and going with an external filter. These diesel rigs do have an external fuel pump so the new filter is placed between the tank and the pump. This may be a diesel only problem since diesel is thicker than gas.

I also have a question about the walbro pickups. Will they work with diesel since diesel is thicker than gas?
