Leg 7 of 10 and I am here in Australia - I am going to the local ARB store in 3 hours and I am very excited. I am not sure what I am going to bring back to the US. I'm looking at either an ARB bull bar or a Kaymar rear bumper if the prices are right. I would suspect that they are due to the fact the exchange rate is favorable and shipping is not an issue. If all else fails, I will bring back some OME shocks for the rig and call it a day.

If anyone needs something small brought back from this side of the world let me know through this post - I am going shopping in 4 hours. Space is limited.

I don't what I was thinking....hmm...I'm here in Australia and I thought that since ARB is also located in AU that things would be cheaper...not so much. You can build an ARB bumper in Melbourne, put it on a boat and ship it to Seattle, then put it on a truck and send it to Pennsylvania cheaper than what you can buy it for in Australia. Unbelievable. I didn't even buy a hat at the ARB store!

Sorry to hear that... Wow. Not what I expected.

In the Land Cruiser capital of the world and the hardware is more expensive here than back at the ranch - makes no sense.

Then the salesman was very reluctant to sell me anything because my LC is a US Spec model and he was not sure if what he sold me would fit.

Greetings,
Are you traveling with Ben from the FjBruisers? he is also in Australia doing a [STRIKE]walk[/STRIKE]drive about....

Matt

No, I had to go there for "other" reasons.

Campo Hope you are taking pics while you are there. Hit me up when you come back state side. If I had known what you were trying to do I would have told before hand what you already found out.

Cam

I do envy you though I would love to be over there.

Mongolia was sick with the cruisers - when I say just about every other was either an 80 or 100 series I'm not kidding. You couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting a Land Cruiser - they were everywhere!

I'm going to be heading down your way for a bumper soon - do you have any connections for a Kaymar rear bumper?
