I had the chance to wheel with the FJ Trail Team this morning. I drove the Silver one up 5 and across 4. My sister (K9Crazy on here) was also there as we trail tested her FJC on 5 as well yesterday.
These trucks are the real deal. I was very impressed and agree with my sister's comment that these are very "technical" trucks. You have to choose the right line, no skinny pedal or "bumping it" is in order. They drive over what you point them at. You drop in on the IFS with brakes on, and you enjoy the ride.
I was very impressed with the ease of driving and the ATRAC was extremely nice after the monsoon that hit this morning. The trial drained well due to the new rocks that were put in (french drained the whole trail!). ATRAC still was too neat a tool to not use regularly.
I will be getting one when I am able.
Thanks for the seat Woody (even though you won't be home until tomorrow to read this). I believe my sister can post up the pics as it was her camera.
Love the FJC. It has the same wheelbase as a 55 and wheels like it!
