Importing from Russia

I have some connections in Russia and was wondering if it would be possible to import a KAMAZ into the US. As anyone who watches rally, KAMAZ is king of the truck class. What are some regulations and things of that nature that restrict imports

The only thing i know about the US importation of vehicle rules is that it has to be 25 years or older if it was never sold in the north american market. In Canada its 15 years, but its pretty much impossible to get around this rule. Iv heard in the US its a little easier.

Keep in mind that the many rules for importing cars and light trucks into the US only apply to those vehicles. A commercial truck is a sorta different kettle of fish with its own complications. Needless to say, there are a lot of interesting and outstanding vehicles we never see here in the flesh, so to speak...
