Picked up my 1999 lx today! It's even nicer than I thought it would be. I did notice some wobble at 80 MPH, so I'll probably get the tires rebalanced and hope that does the trick. Also had to have a giant nail pulled out of a tire. I'll post pics tomorrow.
143K miles and it looks pristine. One owner car and I can't figure out how the guy kept this thing so immaculate. I do have a question about tbelt and water pump:
It is hard to imagine that a car this well maintained didn't have it done, but I don't have any record of it being done. Will it be pretty obvious to a good mechanic if it has been changed? Is there a part number somewhere that would make it obvious? How far in does someone need to dig to figure this out?
I bought the car planning on doing it right away, but it sure would be nice to allocate that money towards fun stuff like sliders and new tires
Welcome to da Club!! I've got a 98 LX and I love it!! Also there was a sticker on the radiator when my t-belt was done. Also my brother just got one and his sticker was on the big engine cover.
