Grrrreat, I guess West Coast Customs (PIMP MY RIDE TV SHOW FABRICATORS) are moving to Corona. They're going to film the whole series around the move apparently. It was in the OC business journal today.

No, next time you see the rig, it will NOT have 50 flat sceen tv's in the back. :flipoff2:

mmmm... there is good potential here for a practical joke on an unsuspecting 80 owner that would have a rig without enough chrome (or too many jerry cans or something silly like that) :D
 
Yeah Overhaulin' is still on the air. Yosh actually entered my Army truck on that show. But when she said that we had a CCTV on the truck at all times and i was watching it like a hawk.. they declined to take it.

I also told them i didnt want any stupid paint jobs or flat screens and i just wanted a 6.6 duramax turbo diesel put in it with rockwells and 46" xml's. They probably.. said 'screw this, that ain't no fun!"
 
Pimp My Ride aired the FJ 40 episode long ago - most of the work to get it running again was done by MAF per Steve-O out there.

Wouldn't want Pimp to touch my 80 - perhaps Overhaulin' if they knew and agreed that it would be set up as an offroad truck. Seems like they do some nice restoration work from what they do show you on TV. Have to wonder about quality with all the work done in a week. Have the same doubts about ABC's Extreme Makeover regarding the homes they build.
 
I think Chip Foose wouldn't / couldn't let a vehicle go out of his shop without being in tip top shape. He's too much of a perfectionist and I don't think he could live with himself unless it was PERFECT.

I'd let him have at it w/ my 80. :hillbilly:

I think we should band together and get "overhaulin" to get LXtremes rig a offroader makeover! :eek:

That would be one hell of a total makeover (goes against what they usually do with the chrome and mini vid screens on the door panels LX has most of the stuff (top of the line) already)!!!
 
I could use a foose paint job and a sweet new stereo and some ARB lockers thrown in.

If he wanted to redo the leather and add some piping I'd be down with that too.

other than that, and a Lukes rear bumper, leave the rig alone!

well, maybe a slee 6" and 37's.. okay, and a super charger....but that's it!


I mean after the snorkel and INTI rack





and the fridge and slide out drawers.....

I was wondering the same thing. I haven't gotten a NEW episode in a long time.

I don't think it would be worth it to let Chip loose on my rig because I have to wheel it and would mess up all thier hard work. Now if I could get them to do a 66 Chevy fleet side with the original Napco 4X4 conversion all original with the factory steelies and 255/80s, that would be sweet. :grinpimp:

Yeah I just read that one of the circus guys accidently triggered the pyrotechnics he was setting up in his face. :doh:
