Im Giving Away the 40

I have lost interest and I no longer have time due to full time work and going back to school and being a full time house parent to 8 teenage girls.

The GOOD

1972 FJ40 1f engine still runs strong. New windshield, original transfercase, Marlin Crawler Transfercase, wheel spacers, 16" 35in BFG KMO tires, rear locker, homemade sliders, Tachometer, Rear jumpseats from a landRover, 2 hardtops, 1 bikini top, hard doors and a set of soft halfdoors, lots of original parts including tire carrier, 4 inch suspension lift, BDS shocks, 2 inch shackle lift, heavy duty tire carrier.

The BAD

My clutch went out, needs kit, $169
Tire carrier is not on
Marlin Crawler T-case still not installed due to clutch being out
leaks a little oil.
Very little rust!!!
Hood is dented due to not latching while driving!!!

The UGLY

It has to go soon!!

This has been my favorite truck ever and I dont want it to go bye-bye but I am just too damn busy to give it the attention it needs. I dont want to wake up and have my six year old say dad are you ever going to finish that landcruiser thing in the garage?

Truck is located in OMAHA, NEBRASKA. It will need to be towed or trailered home.

$3500----This is the best truck here for THIS CHEAP!!!!! I have more than this in the T-case, tires and suspension.

solid mechanically, decent body, 2f, 4 speed, something in that price range, might stretch a little for a nicer one, but working on a fixed budget. can pay up to about 4500. less is best.

needs to be fairly reliable from the get-go, as it will be a driver/shop truck. not afraid of much, save for something that needs a completely new body. 8^)
