For what that engine weighs you could probably drive and get it for the same as shipping.

Did almost the same thing. You want to see if they will ship it Amtrak. It's a pain in the ass and you have to have it completely drained of oil and wraped to where they cannot see it's an engine say it's an anvil or something. But they will ship it to Columbia SC for about 150$ or that was how much the 3fe was. Also pick up is after 10PM.

Well, I recieved a quote from Freightcenter.com for $283.00 door to door. The guy was seemed to have more than two brain cells to rub together and was actually pretty nice on the phone. Unfortunately, Im going to have to get it shipped close to the shop simply because I dont own a truck or anything to haul an engine around in. Id def see about a Columbia terminal if had the ability to drive it back to Camden. I guess we'll see what happens.

A 87 FJ60 2F into my ragged 77 40. Any predictions?

Will need a BFH for this job.....nah just kidding....measure your engine mounts first and then put it in and you'll have it mounted in like 2 hours I predict.
