Ahh, definitely will check that, thanks!

It's a '63. We are fixing all the electrical. Also had one of the exhaust manifolds stud broken off in the head, that was pretty fun extracting.

My dent removal guy that I have been using for years finally had a couple hours of free time today. So he stopped by to remove all the dings on the doors as well as the larger trail damage from PO. Had a few dents on the back tail gate door so I thought what better time to cut out the sheet metal for him to have easier access to repair. Picked up a storage lid from @socallove and ordered it blank so I can make a few changes to it.

I love these two machines, well 3 if you count the Supra.

Started on rear suspension today which will be including the Metal Tech Rear Lower and Upper Adjustable Arms. Also installing the Whiteline Rear Panhard Bar and Fox Shocks. Here's a before picture with all the surface rust before we get started on it.

Almost done with the rear, still have to add bump stop extensions and sway bar extensions.

Close to six hours with por15 rust remover & primer, multiple wire brushes by hand and with spin brush air tools. Followed by 2 cans of Rust-Oleum Rust Reformer and 1 can of Krylon Rust Tough Enamel. Took less than 3 hours to install all the arms. Common Ryan, after all the time and money I am putting in this, you think I'm going to paint over rust like a :hillbilly:
Pictures don't do justice, there was a ton of surface rust and now it's nice and smooth. Also ordered new bolts and nuts from Toyota for the control arms to replace the rusty looking ones that were on there.

Here's a close up for you non-believers aka @scottryana lol
That's as good as it's gonna get, or at least how much I had patience for.

Thanks, I still have the frame rails and slider mounts as well as a lot of brackets to finish cleaning. At least the hardest areas are done.

Thanks Phil, most people don't even notice it.

Dang. I think undercarriage R&R probably adds mega dollars to resale value vs. the money spent since those are always the pictures that impress me when I'm shopping for a truck :o

No matter how much I cleaned I could not completely get rid of the stains and marks on the headliner, so I decided to use flexible Fabric Paint to coat the whole headliner and pillar covers. Found a matching paint for the Gray interior and got to work.
