Also coated the sunroof's cover panel and the trim around the glass. Not sure if I will be painting all the grab handles and dome light panels or not yet. Might just leave them alone with a 2 tone look.

Here are some pics showing the difference in color from original to the charcoal grey finish.

I have actually used this product numerous times on seats, door panels, and even floor mats. Floor mats only held up a few years before having to recoat. But since I am mostly coating areas where there won't be any real wear, I imagine it to last for a very long time.

The color reminds me of my Mercedes E55 that had the alcantara headliner

So this turned out to be way way nicer than I thought it would. I kinda thought it might look out of place but it looks F'n great!
I also installed the heat barrier on top of the headliner with the self adhesive backing. Hopefully it will help with heat reduction.

Rear lights in the old speaker mounts will be connected to the rear tail gate switch.
Whatcha guys think of the two-tone, should I spray the grab handles and dome housings?

Yeah, I was thinking that too, but I am going to give it a few days and see if it grows on me or not. But all in all, it was worth the effort. I love the overall look without all the nasty stains and dirty areas around the grab handles.

I am done for today, going to leave work now and get an acid scrub wash. I have to say I did get a cheap high off the fumes:hillbilly:

KEEP IT! I think it pops. I really need to undertake some of this R&R work on mine.

Yeah, so far a few people said to leave it 2 tone including the :princess:
So it's staying for now.

my vote goes to paint it all, but who cares what I think? I think the :princess: trumps all other input.

Got the interiors of all doors and rear section covered today.

While everything was out, it was easy to run a 2 Gauge power, 3 pairs of RCA, Speaker wires, and a few extra wires for future mods;)

Painted the rear speaker covers. Now known as LED Cargo Light Covers. Each side has 9 Leds on them. Looks pretty bright even with the covers on. What's really great is that the speaker covers actually reduce all side glare and will mostly shoot the light downward so I won't be blinded when I open the rear hatch like the dome lights usually do.

Installing a Pioneer Head Unit that works just like an Andriod device down to even making text messages while you drive.
Pulled out the factory speakers that are mounted underneath the dash and installed the JL Audio Tweeties.

Cut the rear factory subwoofer mount into 2 pieces and used them to mount the 4 channel and 2 channel amps.
Also mounted the BlueSea fuse panel in the center.

Used a Jeep's switch panel and cut it to fit under the dash. Going to mount a Voltage Gauge in the center for the 2nd battery and a bunch of switches for lights, usb power, etc.
