I really hate thieves, always have, always will.

Went yesterday after work to get my new engine hoist from Harbor freight. Had it in the back of my truck that I was borrowing while the suburban is down for brake service. On the way back stopped to pick up some groceries. Went in the store.... came out.... engine hoist gone :mad:*(#*(*$#(*(*(* is all I have to say.

I was barely in there 10 F-ing minutes and didn't think that would happen in that part of town.... Oh well lesson learned. Now i'm pissed and out $150 for the hoist.

I was so pissed yesterday I waited an hour before I went home to be in a better mood for the :princess:

So anyone in the charlotte area I need to borrow an engine hoist ASAP.

No, not at that one..... the side of the Parking lot I parked in is by some vacant buildings that is still kind of undeveloped...... I asked but they said where i'm parked there is nothing.... really just the font of the stores. I'm over it now.... i've always been cautious about leaving things in the back of a pick up like that but.... it was hard to see and this area is good... I was parked in between a few boats that were leaving the lake for the day, no one was in the trucks with them though.

Like I said lesson learned.... I just needed that thing for a project today and can't really spare another set of greenbacks for a new one. :mad:

So like I said will be looking to borrow one this week.
 
You are welcome to borrow mine if you want. I don't travel for work anymore so I won't be able to drop it off or meet you until after 4ish.

You are welcome to come and get it during the day if that fits your schedule better.

Thanks Brad.... I can pick it up after work one day this week. I normally get off in the 5-7 range.

Dang man. Hate to hear that. It never fails something like this happens when you least expect it. I know it's unlikely they'll ever get caught but I'd love to send some bad Karma their way.
 
Whomever stole this hoist would have been a good candidate for a target at the shooting event. Thieves are the absolute worst:mad:
 
Im still trying to get it through my head how the guy stole it so quickly. It was fairly heavy when i bought mine and it seems a little bit random to steal out of the back of a truck. What an a-hole

Oh it could be done..... It would take me a whole 30 seconds to pull it out of the truck bed and put it in another one and the average passerby wouldn't even suspect anything was going on........ I'm over it now I know not to do anything like that again.
