Hello,

Tim here, new to IH8MUD. I am struggling with a spark issue. I have read several post about testing spark and testing resistance for the coil and the external ballist resistor. The resistance is within range for the coil and ballist. When checking the spark it seem weak on the primary from the coil. Checking for spark at each of the plug wires yields no spark.

1981 FJ40 from New Zealand (right hand drive)

Not sure what else might help. Let me know if I have missed information to help give so much needed guidance.

The cap and rotor and plugs were replaced last year.

I'm getting wires to try that today but have concerns about the faint spark at the primary.
