Ifranview storing images?

I am trying to clean up the laptop and notice about a million pics in ifranview. Pics from mud and everywhere else that I never clicked or saved just viewed in threads and off of sites, banners, ads etc.. I have been deleting stuff for hours.

The questions is how do I get Ifranview to stop, I have searched the program and can't find the answer.

Any help would be appreciated,

hhhhmm....doesn't sound like something IrFanView would do...it doesn't do that for me....

Irfanview may not be doing it, they may just be picture files that were saved (why, I don't know), and the default program set to open them is irfanview. I haven't had this issue, and I have irfanview.

well, first off let's say I might not be the most informed computer user.

Here is what happens;

Open Ifranview, click open, I have all of these files with names like 3HLBME2T and they are loaded with images, like images of "Smilies" from here, peoples avatars, banners from this and any other site. Hell I just found a picture of Mama Cass and who the fxxx knows where that came from?!?!?

It would be ineteresting to look at some of this stuff, if it wasn't a ton of files full of images.

I can run Disk Cleanup and show nothing in Temp Internet and Ifranview is jammed full of stuff?
