Give him your truck and he'll do it. He wants to do it - he already knows how he is going to do it - he just needs a customers truck and the customer that is going to pay.![]()
A man of your status - you'd be the perfect customer!![]()
Think of how much more popular you will be ...![]()

Ken has been talking about this and have been thinking about it for a long time. He just needs the right customer - it will take a little time because it won't be a bolt on situation - a few things with the ABS - thinking an 80 series axle front and rear - gotta deal with the ABS stuff - there is plenty of room to mount things - the rear is close - the front will be a little tricky but doable - gotta deal with the steering setup.
Also - customer has to decide if they want coilovers or 80 series front suspension setup.
We all know he does great quality work and background with desert trucks and crawler trucks.

These cars are not rockcrawlers. I cannot fathom spending that kind of coin on a huge ass heavy wagon just to get a solid axle under it.
I would rather have an 80 series with an LT-1 in it.

The solid axle 100 is offered out of country for a reason. The solid axle will allow 35 to 37 tires with out braking CVs and steering parts like twigs. Bigger tires provide better floatation for tha heavy rig to get stuck less, go through deep water crossings. 100s are great for expedition and even exploring the outback can turn ugly and break parts. We all know a solid axle is stronger and more reliable than IFS.
The stock IFS 100 cruises the mall ncie though ; )

ShottsUZJ100 said:Really? Do you know how much less an 80/LX like mine weighs compared to the typical ARB/Slee? 200-300 pounds. That's all the more a 100 is over an 80.
My 2nd 100 would be frame cut and downsized like my 80's and not weigh any more than a typical 80 out there in Moab.
Maybe you meant to say....."a huge sized wagon"?![]()
Garth said:I don't think he's saying that 80s are rock crawlers and 100s aren't. I think he's saying that neither are rock crawlers and both are huge and heavy. So, he'd rather have an LT1 80 than an SFA 100 for the money.
Remember that Nolen wheels a rock buggy. His rigs are 100% rock crawler. The kind of rock crawling he's talking about are things wagons can only dream of.

Keep the 100 for what it is and get one of these for rockcrawling![]()
