Idler pulley sources (1 Viewer)

I'm looking for sources for V-belt idler pullies. Looking for 5" diameter to make my smog pump replacement. Would a lawn mower type pulley be sturdy enough? How about a nylon one?

I don't see why any steel pulley wouldn't work, there shouldn't be much resistance on the smog pump, I know a wrecking yard or even a Napa parts store could probably come up with something. I don't think I would run a nylon one, it isn't as forgiving if it bends or breaks whereas the steel could fixed, welded etc.

For pulleys, I'd check at bearing supply or farm supply store. also Grainger probably has them.
