This Saturday I was thinking of going on a day run with the stock 100. I dont want a fire road but I dont want Carvacre. I also don't want 115degree F. Thoughts?:grinpimp:

Zack,

I would reccomend Santa Rosa Peak- east of Anza- The west side is an easy fire road that will get you up to 7,000 foot elevation. There are a few side trails at the top that you can explore - Thomas Mountain is a little more challenging- but still safe for your 100 . You also could do the fire road on the north side of Palomar- Should be nice up there this weekend.

BTW- hows the leg :D

Tim!

I appreciate the idea, sounds good. I will google the place. If you have time could you direct me to any added info about how to get there? Is it pretty intuitive once you arrive?

Leg is good! Some limited range of movement, atrophy is minimal now after a few weeks of PT and the exercise bike. Im back on the Harley and love it. My stock 100 with 33"s will have to do for a while.:p

I found Thomas Mountain truck trail on Google Earth...looks like there is a maze of trails up there
