i'm wanting to stretch my wheelbase out some (currently at 101) and was wondering if any of yall could give me any imput on what the max i can probably run without starting to have problems with my breakover angle...i'm rolling on 38's and i have about 24" under my skidplate

thanks!

106-108 with 40 or 42s looks like the money number to me, Eric-D-Lux as an example

I'm 102 with 37s and I don't think I would go longer without bigger tires and a completely flat belly.

I'm at 106" right now with 37s. After Moab i'll probably be looking at 40s or 42s to help with the long wheel base.

i would say you will be good around 105 and if you unsure about the belly install a good skid plate, mine is 109 -110 but i have 42,s

I'm 100" with 37's and a flat belly...good all around compromise IMO...

my next rig (or next redesign of this one) will push me around 104"...

Obviously, boulders and breakover angles lean towards a shorter setup, with long climbs preferring a longer setup....hit too much variety in your terrain, and any wheelbase will bite you...

maybe make it adjustable ;)
