He's not running KO2's...so yours will differ...and no, you should not run that low on the street.

On my 35x12.5x17 Ridge Grapplers, street pressure is 38 and they are comfortably squatty. Talk to Gaijin...

If you are running 285/70/17 KO2's, I think it was 40 PSI. Could have been 42... Can't remember. Sold mine last summer when I went big.

I would start with the chalk test to determine your ideal pressure from the perspective of tire contact patch and then adjust slightly from there to acheive ride quality. Compensating for a stiff suspension and stiff sidewalls with too low of tire pressure will compromise the vehicle's performance in a maximum demand situation (i.e. emergency braking or cornering). Keep in mind that the maximum inflation pressure for E rated tires is very high due to the load capacity and has nothing to do with the ideal pressure for your vehicle. The pressure shown on the door pillar is also irrelevant when you change up width, profile, and sidewalls.

@Willy beamin, ridge grapplers seem to work better with a little more pressure. I run 38-40 psi.
everything seems to be well planted but not too firm. definitely a bigger difference can be felt with the rock warriors, when air pressure changes. lots of side wall with 35s around 17" wheels.
