iBoost or Hydroboost ? (1 Viewer)

Already have a unit from an ‘05 Ford for the hydro boost conversion but the iBoost set up has recently caught my attention. I see it as simpler and likely cheaper as well. Can’t find much info here as far as an 80 having one swapped in. Here’s what I’m looking at though:

Swear I saw a set of adapter plates on here over the last month or two(but it could have been on another site). One link I have saved is from pirate4x4.

Anyway, does anyone have input on this subject ? I’d totally be down for a slightly bigger bore MC for less pedal travel that would also simplify the swap process too.

I've never done either, but I'd vote for the Honda system. I lost all faith in Ford's ability to design a power steering system in the 60's, when they copied the totally worthless GM Corvette system.

That's a totally stuck up engineering opinion, and I'm sticking to it.

Never done iboost. Hydroboost though was one of the best mods I've done. My brakes are amazing even with 8 dollar parts store brake pads.

My question is, will the Honda booster create enough force?
Interesting idea. Small and cheaper than the Speedway Motors kit.
