I was really suprised with how good the 100 did

For a stock truck, other then some MT's I am very very impressed with how the 100 performed this past weekend.

Did a local trail named Barney Riley mostly 2 and some 3 rated stuff. A moded heep wrangler turned around once he saw tie rod hill :flipoff2:. He was pretty suprised to see me with my 3yr old daughter and the "mall" cruiser.

Nothing really nasty but just a lot of fun.

I lost a wheel cap!!!! That has to be worth something:beer:

and notice that those tree's are growing straight up and down. None of that tree's growing sideway's stuff you get with some people's massive incline type pic's ;)

Cool pics. Glad to hear it lived up to your expectations!

Nice photos. I took my 80 up into the Pine Nuts a few weeks ago, there was a lot of water up there too. You will probably end up with some pinstriping if you go up there, but your 100 would not have any problem and the views are great.

lol...

if you look closely at the second shot there is MULTIPLE pinstripes. They don't bother me much. :grinpimp:

Nice pix! Those 305s fit nice without a lift.

Sweet pics Red !

Looks like you put you rig through the paces that day, overall, how are those tires performing ? I liked your choice of rubber, and they look real nice too !

BTW.....Will that center cap be cash, or charge? ;)

How are they on the road?

It's tough to tell right now. They weren't balanced correctly so I need to take them in and done right. 50-60 I get a shake right now.

Besides that they are great on the road. Not too loud.

We will have to see how they wear as time goes on.

FYI: Big O couldn't get my MT/R's balanced worth a darn (bought them there). Thanks to the advice from others here on 'MUD (Big O told me Force Balancing was a waste of money and it wouldn't solve my problem!) I took them to Les Schwab and had them Road Force Balanced (dyamically balanced while mounted to the LC) and low and behold they run very smooth (for MT/R's anyway) at all rpm ranges; Definitely worth the $100 IMO.

I had my Toyo MT's roadforce balanced and they ran nice and smooth. Since then, one of the front tires lost ALL its weights... still rides nice and smooth. :D But I am still going back to get it rebalanced.

(I'm taking a risk here, since I didn do a search).

Maybe this is an interesting option instead: http://www.imiproducts.com/equal/tire-balancing.aspx ?

Does anyone here have any experience with this?

I had Equal in my MTRs and was not happy with it at all. Airing down with that stuff causes all kinds of problems congestion in the valve stems. In every case, I'd have to pull them to clear the Equal out and then attach the Oasis tire deflators and not move. If I drove with them on, they'd just clog up.

I'd stay away from Equal, but that's just me.

Why not just throw a handful of gravel into your tire and hope that the rocks will figure out how to balance the tire when a tire tech with a $1000 machine can't do it?

There's a company that makes small ceramic beads to put into tires for the purpose of balancing...I haven't heard any of these types of balance fixes really work all that well...

Josh on this board recommended BB's as that is what he has had success with that in swampers. He runs about 1 carton per tire if I recall correctly. I didn't need to many weights on my swampers, YET. :D
