Considering the model year, price is not absurd. Good grief, I was just on Autotrader looking at sub 100k LC/LX's and the asking prices are astonishingly high. As in 2004 LX's listed for $29,xxx. While it has like 55,000 miles, that is crazy.

Have you physically gone to look at the truck? If not, most places will not get too far into negotiations without being there. Online sales have changed that to an extent.

To me it's great deal. Just paid 28k for 07 lx470 with lower milage. I would check the car history and check if it was owned by company.
Great find

You can get it a bit cheaper. Driver seat is probably worn, since they didn't show it. It looks like the back foot has a dent, the running board maybe damaged and the front bumper scratched up. A live inspection would likely expose more imperfections. How are tires?

I went Saturday to see it in person and man it looks great! Interior is great shape no tears, tires are still good, engine starts right away without any problem... We were talking about the price and he offered $17,159 as the final price after fees and all. What do you think?

Oh there are 3 very minor exterior issues

Looks like a fair price from what I can see; not great but not bad either. Any maintenance history? Considering you're going through a dealer, expect to pay a premium since this is their livelihood and they have to make a profit. If buying from a private party, these items don't necessarily apply.

i had them print me a copy of the car fax and it's clean. it's been service twice and only been through 2 owners

Just know that carfax data is not necessarily all inclusive.

Also I would find someone to do a prepurchase inspection.

Im biased but I don't trust the dealers in that area.

if i knew anyone who know these SUVs, i'd love to have them come inspect it. unfortunately i don't

You take it to a shop for the PPI. Take it to Baertrax and let Josh look it over. Or ask Jacque at Toyota of Dallas which tech he would recommend.
