Sorry Sid @CID 96 ... I scratched the 40...

The cage and harness saved my ass/noggin. I rolled 2.5 times down a hill and they held... I got some minor bruising on my leg and side but nothing major.

The 40 killed a propane tank, cage got nailed, windshield was wrecked, but it drove off the trail no problem.

I think I was partially Jinxed! We had just stopped and chatted with some of you Georgia guys during the Thurday night ride and about the 40 having new dents... and then the next trail I roll it... good times..

Dang George, glad you are ok. That does look like some pretty hard hits.

There is an easier way to check your u-joints.

The trail looks familiar. Were you at Hot Springs too? If so, what trail was this?

Yeah the cage did it's job... it took some hard hits but absorbed it and doesn't look like it deformed...

Lol yep U-joint check, and I can't park there..

It was at SCC Hot Springs this past weekend... it was on Fun Run, climbing the ramp in the middle... 3/4 of the way up.. TC dropped out of 4WD and I didn't catch it.. I wasn't used to how slick the rock is there... and it slid out...

We did Fun Run on Friday afternoon and it challenged a couple of trucks in our group. Such a surprise at night could have had even more significant results. As you just said, the roll cage did its job. Now you can fix what needs attention.
