Trucks's been great so far. Have had it coming up to two weeks, and have managed to put about 800 miles on it - including a 7 hour drive today with the family. The ride is superb, and the vehicle feels solid. It feels a lot like a Merc - in a good way!
Only complaints so far is a big crease in the front drivers seat - for which the dealer has ordered a new cushion and cover as a replacement - looks like a factory install issue, and one of the DVD screens in the back not working properly (I knew that tech would bite me in the butt). Other than that, the truck's been great.
I'm hoping this doesn't turn into the nightmare ownership experience that my wife's Q7 has become. As soon as the warranty expired it started suffering from mechanical and electrical faults, and numerous oil leaks created by the dealer (took 5 trips to the dealer to fix them). It threw a bunch of codes 2 days ago, and started stuttering, so hobbled to the dealership to get it fixed. 1,500 bucks later and the car is fine - but that was parts and labor for replacing just one injector port and spark plug. Got it home yesterday and now the battery is dead. Will have to jump start it in the morning and take it to the dealer for a new battery and programming. Believe that'll cost me at least 500 bucks as the battery is located under the driver's seat and the car needs to be "programmed" to work properly when the thing goes in. Will take an hour or so, and am worried that NTB will screw it up. Not loving the Audi ownership experience one bit!
Oh - anyone know which dealers offer lowest prices on extended warranties for LCs? Heard good things about Midwest Superstore in Kansas, but not sure if that's the go-to on the LC front....
Thanks in advance!
