HEAD FOUND LOCALLY (IN FLA). THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO REPLIED!!!!


Men:
I need a 77-78 2F head. My best bud in Jacksonville is in the early stages of resurrecting a 40 and has a head that is leaking between the water jacket and exhaust port. He doesn’t have a spare, and he’s severely parts-challenged!!! His intent is to have the new head reworked locally in Florida.
Lemme know what you have, your location, and we can work out the particulars. Thanks!

Thanks Jeff. I was hoping Gary would become the 'go-to' parts guy on this but it doesn't sound that way. Having never bought one, what is a reasonable price for a good head, no pun intended!
I'm going to post to Mud too, and see what comes about with that...

I'm pretty sure that I have one in the garage from a 78. Does he need the rocker assembly also, or just the bare head?
