I have a big and huge front bumper with winch as TOY OEM plus a OEM tire carrier that looks heavy too. Plus a lot of other OEM equipment that will add weight.
Here my question:
How does the stock springs and shocks hold up all that weight? Okay I have adjustable OEM shocks but that will not help the coils. It is quite a lot of weight in this rig and fully loaded with all passengers I can't see any problems in height.
Do I have different coils and/or shocks??? I don't think so !!
The ride is great and thanks to the adjustable shocks I can run through corners in high speed without any body lean.
Christo, where would be then the advantage if I change to OME, maybe 2,5'' heavy setup ???
I run 275/75R16 that is around 32.2'' diameter and I plan to replace them with 295/75R16. It will give a bit of lift and looks very nice.
But I really wonder about the weight that the stock suspension carries in my case. As you can see in my sig-line my rig is fully loaded and it is running so great that I wonder sometimes about some threads refering to the LC80 as a lame SUV??? Mine is running like a rocket without a SC/Turbo.
Plus I don't see that the front is more down. My rig is on a nice level.
Are there any differences in the suspension worldwide? Maybe in Australia, Asia, Africa compared to the USA? To add more weight I still have the A442F Tranny with its higher weight compared to the 343 Tranny.
Maybe C'an, Christo or some other friends can give me some inside information?? Thanks
Mike
