Husband notices another new scratch or ding in wife's vehicle.

Husband texts picture.

Wife says "Oh thats been there for a while. I have no idea how it got there".

Its the same answer every time :)

I guess life is too short to worry about it. But Ive got others if you want to see them

You should see the other car...

I have a nice scratch on the hood of my LC and I know how it got there. And I am reminded every time I see it. Like today as I cleared the snow off. I need to get it buffed out so I can block that memory out of being distracted and forgetting to tie down my kayak that amazingly stayed on the roof rack for a 1/4 mile until I realized it. I pulled over and slowed down a wee bit too quickly. At which point it shot off the rack on down on to the hood. Had I stopped slower it would have stayed on the rack. Had I stopped faster it would have shot off and cleared the hood. Grrrr.

Not my cruiser, but I once did something similar with about 16 - 2x10x12 SPF on the ladder rack of my F250. I hit the brakes to slow down from 50 for a turn and several of the boards went straight while the truck and I turned. Amazingly no significant damage, other than my wounded ego. Looking back it is hilarious.

Mine has quite a few scratches like that from when I bought it. Also a female prior owner. Just sayin’. :flipoff2:Need to do a paint correction as most are just in the clear coat.

Our LX has plenty of soccer mum damage. Bless the wife, I remind her of it whenever I pinstripe the car when taking it out with the lads.
