I Have A New Avatar!!!

so this post is to partly show off my thuggin' cat representin' tha LBC and partly to add a new post to this section (which I check multiple times a day).

Just so everyone knows, I will be in Atlanta May 14th-June 22nd as I have to go through a training class that all new Chick-fil-A franchisees must go through before becoming the owner of the local business. So I will have to miss any runs in that time frame. I really want to show off my new blue PHH and ARB but I will have to wait. By then I might have some Hanna Sliders to show off too....damn this is getting expensive....I need to sell a lot of chicken!!

I can't wait to camp/explore with everyone this summer sometime...July/August should be good for me!!

There is a Taco Bell University. Of course they call it that because it is on University Dr in Riverside but it is a University.

I have a blue PHH and a shiny silver head to show off too. ;p Unfortunately it cost me allot more than the $25 PHH. I am glad to hear that you are having fun with your new obsesion. I think you will enjoy it. You certainly are charging hard, I like that. Have fun in Hotlanta.

Well it is about to slow down for quite some time. My birthday is in July and the ARB was that present. The sliders are an early Christmas present. The lift is next. It will be quite a ways off (unless I find a used one for cheap). As of now I want the Slee 4'' but I go back and forth. I talked with AMMO and with an 1'' or 2'' body lift and OME I could achieve the height I want for a lot less money. So I am thinking abou that also as it will allow for me to get it sooner. After the lift i think that the Rear bumper/tire carrier will be next (just like FirstToy's) By then I think I will have the foundation set. The problem is that somewhere in between all that I will need to do TWO head gasket replacments so that will hurt the progress (since I am probably going to have to pay someone to do them as I am no where near that saavy) . It is a journey thogh and I am in it for the long haul.

Depending on the amount of chikin I sell I would like to have it somewhat Baja/other expedition ready by mid to late next year.

Geez Smit you keep this up and you won't get another present for years. Like taking a second mortgage on future presents. You will be very pleased with the capabilities of a built 80 as an expedition rig.

I bet you could find a used OME kit pretty easy as a lot of people are upgrading now that higher lifts are becoming more common. Besides with the option of a body lift if that suits you or skipping that and running the OME you can still run 315's or 33's which is more than enough for expedition stuff. You will have the armor for back up if you get in over your head anyway. You will be amazed at the places your rig will take you. You really only need the extra height and travel if you are into rock crawling as your main thing. You can still play on some pretty good stuff as long as you protect your underside.

The HG's won't be too bad if you don't let them blow first and destroy your head or engine. The gasket kit is only about $180 from Cdan and you have lots of connections for assistance on the labor. Hint, hint.

You can jump in front of me........it will be a while before the funds allow for anything else....but the lift will the next mod once the buget says so.
