i found this '67 j45 wasting away in a driveway

hello everyone. i don't know much about old land cruisers. i used to be into old land rovers a little bit and kinda knew about the old toyotas, but anyway...

i found this in a lady's driveway when i was bidding her roof. she wants to sell it. her husband said he'd take $2000 for it. i wasn't able to look under the hood. the frame was rusty but solid. it doesn't run. that price seems a little steep for something that would need so much work, but i don't know much about these. are any of these parts rare? i had never seen the truck version of these before. they're pretty cool.

wow, three messages and the inbox is full? crazy. i'm going to try to talk to these people today about their roofing estimate and see what they want to do about the truck. i might be able to negotiate something with the roof deal and just buy the truck myself. then we can go from there. i only talked to the wife. it's the husband's truck. she did say he wanted to sell it, but you know how that is. i'll keep y'all posted.
