Couldn't find anything in search. Can anyone tell me how to turn off/disconnect the in-cab back up alarm that sounds when I am in reverse in my HZJ77?

You could listen for the source of the beeping to figure out where the beeper is. Then unplug it.
Or, you could download the schematics for the early 90's JDM 70 series which are posted on these forums, and figure out the wiring for the beeper.

I know they are in a couple of different locations. And, are seriously hard to pinpoint where it's coming from because they are so loud.
But, mine was just below the steering wheel to the left slightly. Unplug it, and it's done.

Connector should be located behind the instrument cluster, if like an HDJ81. Check EWD to confirm

Thanks, all. Forgot to subscribe to my own thread. I'll give these a go! Good to know that the electrical schematics are on Mud (somewhere).
