HZJ77 Tranny to TCase seal....?

Just checked oil level in t case of my 91 HZJ77 (auto tranny) and oil came GUSHING out! Does this mean the seal between the tranny and t case has gone south? I don’t know how you could overfill the t case

At highway speed (60mph) she’ll occasionally “mist” t case oil out. You can see it coming from around the bottom of pto cover.
