I got the spring perches all welded on to 75 width today but unfortunately I forgot some parts at work and couldn't get the axle 100 together tonight should be sitting on a rolling chassis by friday

That looks a bit like my old body, is there much rust in the foot wells and the wheel arch inners?

I'm in Australia too, have you got a spare ashtray?

since the frame is a 94, i'd drop in a 1FZ. That engine on the 70 series is awesome and should be a direct install right?

Where I am located I couldn't get one without signing my life away to buy it :( I wish maybe one day for now 2f is the route

The vin under the hood says the 1hz and h55f so I assume not? And not bad! But they do need some love for sure

I have seen a few people post up their 75 build and put the cab and such on an 80 series chassis

It's been awhile since an update so I will give one now! I have been busy and kinda lost sight of the build almost sold it but have decided to take this build in a whole different direction. Since the frame is so bare is had thoughts of different ways of building. I am picking up a fj60 that was rear ended for 200 dollars. The axles are missing which is no big deal because I have a set. So I am going to pull the cab off and put the cab on the 60 frame since I was going to run all 60 drivetrain anyways it will work perfect. It's probably going to get a spring over haven't decided yet. Interior will go all 60 even down to the dash. And it will get a custom tray back and sit on 35 inch tires. Thoughts?

Has anyone ever seen or done a 60 interior in a 70 series? Do you know if the dash will bolt in??

Motor is coming together for this truck! Super excited to here it start up!

That's a good move going to the 60 chassis as you have access to a lot more bits. I have seen some 45 cabs on 60 chassis.
Most of the chassis converted 75s in Aus go onto 80 series chassis, 1 the 75s here are complete and on leafs ,and 2 for the coils but I'm sure that would be a fair bit more $$ going down that path

35s and a SOA would look boss there is plenty of tray back pics on the Aussie forums and they are not to hard to make.

Thanks for the info! I appreciate it. Are the 60 frames a lot shorter then the 75 frame? And spring over would be awesome!
