So I finally got the trany out this morning for my cruiser. Upon pulling I found the disc was worn well down to the rivets, but the bigger catch is that the rear head gasket is leaking oil into the bell housing. I have to get the flywheel machined and order some other parts, so I'm not in a rush to get it back together. I'll get sure to make this a series
Real questions
-Is there anyway to fix the oil leak, without pulling the head? Is the new clutch going to be comprimised if I put it back together as it is?
-When I was draining the Trany(H55) oil, it came out horrible. Slime green and alot of metallic flakes. I was debating getting a rebuild kit if that is enough to warrant concern?
