Nice truck, and even more beautiful country side. I wish I was able to afford a 'round the world trip to see some of these beautiful locations. That looks absolutely stunning.

Ice on the road or rain or road with a bad asphalt...:) Hardness to say that it was worse...
However much toyota survived revolution without problems. I, a wife, son and dog, did not suffer.:):):) After a failure we passed a 900 km to the house.:p

Very nice vehicles Voran! Looks like the 78 survived well. From the pictures it looks like only the door got a bit creased. Are they expensive in Russia? And are they popular there?
Please keep the pictures coming - it's great to see so many 70 series of all shapes, sizes and nationalities here!

A door and back lantern suffered only.:) These cars are very popular in Russia. A price goes down very slowly on them. ;) Car a 15-20 thousand euro can cost 91-92 years of birth. New HZJ-78 a 43-45 thousand euro costs.:eek::eek: But even for such money they are bought. Especially now when HZJ-105 did not become...

Wow 44000 euro is $80000 AUD . In Australia they start at $57000 for a cab chassis through to about $75000 for a troopy or 76 series V8 diesel with all options.
Is that one from the middle east as Ive only seem ME landcruisers with the bonnet badge?

The 105 was also popular here too,we called them "The ship of the desert", like a camel:D They were popular with govt and mining companies for personnel transfer
They should have made the 105 with the V8 diesel;).

Wow! That's a high price. My company 105 series (which was one of the last and quite difficult to source) cost us €24,000.

And I fully agree - I can never figure out why a factory turbo or later V8 was not planned for the late great 105

A new 78 could be had for just a touch over $30,000 USD here in Ghana in 2007.

Just for you to compare, LC prices at Finland. I think that not many other country should complain about prices... And those Cruisers without number is all we get. Not any 70-series or anything else.

Land Cruiser 3.0 D-4D Executive Shadow aut. 81 661,24 euros (108 337 dollars)
Land Cruiser V8 4.5 D-4D Luxury aut. 152 931,79 euros (202 889 dollars)

Sorry about OT, but makes me little bit angry. Most new Cruisers that we see here in Finland are loaded on the truck, going thru, heading to Russia! Thanks to Finnish taxes...

They should have made the J45 with the V8 diesel:):):)

I would have been happy with a 12HT in a 45;)

I was looking at Prado prices the other day. The entry level Standard model is $47100AUD with a turbo diesel and 6 sp manual. The V6 gasser is $500 more
Most vehicles cost more for the TD and 6sp:D
Comes with 2 x 90 litres tanks as standard;)

Specs for the Standard Prado
