Hzj 105 Wiring problems.

2005 HZJ105 Having problems with the fuel gauge and the tacko not working. Everthing else works. Has aneybodie had this problem?

More than likely a fuse mate, check and see if your interior light is working, or if your reverse lights are working. If either of these aren't working as well, it's definitely a fuse. From memory I think it's a gauge fuse?? But I'm not 100% on that.

Rightio, have you checked the fuses anyway? I seem to remember something similar happening on my old hzj105.

check if your tach pick up sender ( at IP ) still conected and check signal there .. then follow it at the main conector ( rectangular ones ) close to the firewall over tranny bellhousing ..

Thanks for the hints on where to start looking. Very anoying drove home last night no fuel gauge no tacko. Drove to work today botw worked. Drove home tonight fuel worked no tacko. Very anoying.

I think i will pull the dashcluster out and have a look.

I had to change the tank float switch to fix the fuel meter,

Forgot to say, on the secondary tank.
