hi,
anyone looking for a tray for their boxless bj,pz,hz,fj75/79 pick-ups. if i could get enough interest, i might be able to land a few in one shipment. pm me if interested. these boxes have the dual tank opening with the rack.

i wish they were, it would save on shipping. i didn't think canadian toyota dealers could get them! i know Ens falls into another category.

nope the trucks come in cab and chassis...
not sure where he is getting them but remember the 75 series does NOT fit the 79

that being said, IF they are in mint condition then i might take 2 X 75 series... depending on the cost.

trying to get enough interest to warrant a order. pricing will be affected on the amount ordered. these are 79 series boxes and not 75's. some modification needed to fit on the 75's frame.

i would be willing to be a test pilot for the conversion over but i suspect it will involve moving/adapting the box mounts and either relocating the rear axle back or moving the wheel wells ahead.
cheers

i've finally landed my 79series box. the sad thing, i was only able to get one at this moment! i will keep the enquiries updated on any progress of getting more. i will show some pics when i install on my bj75 and with modification info. i also got the extra gas tank assembly, a bonus.

nah, you don't want to be the test pilot for this, let me volunteer mine. i will gladly make the sacrifice for the good of the group...

send me an email, i want to chat.

Wow very nice and shiny ,cant wait to see it on the 75 to check out minor differences.
How much are these tubs worth ,would a flat tray be cheaper?
To put a sub tank in and rear hanger brakets for the tank you have to grind of the spare wheel braket holder

The 79 is the truck to have - more interior room and safer cab construction.

Yeah I think having the little bit of extra space would be nice.
Though I would still love to have a 6 inch stretched aqualu 45....

my plan is not to modify the existing mounts on the box or chassis but to add a extra 3/8"or 1/2" long flat bar shim across the chassis mounts and add the extra holes to line up to the box mounts. crossing my fingers for the near perfect fit. i would like to keep the box in original state in case of putting it on my 00hz79 later if more interior cab room is needed.

Looking good.

My tray was without the exstra fuel opening. Iam going to cut 8-8.5 cm in front of the tray. I have now made a album and I will put information and pictures as the project goes forward....please take a look.

Sorry for hijacking the thread...

Hello Wayne,

What ever happened to your FJ75, the firetruck? It is not on your pictures, you have not talked about it, and I am curious.
