Hi all have not been around here in a while. Had to park the cruiser for a while. Life got crazy. And the steering on it is well scary. I have most the stuff needed to do a hydro assist setup. Heim joints, Saginaw scout pump. Pillow block, Hydraulic ram. (actually got two of those). I have access to a mig welder, plasma cutter, drill press, big hammers etc. Anyone that has done one interested in helping do one. Im a little gun shy on this project. I live near lake wallenpaupack about a half hour from Scranton..

What size tires are you using?
I have a scout box and pump runing iroc 36" and my scout box has only bound up once and if it didn't I would have broke something. Hydro assist may be overkill.

That's what I would do. You can always add the hydro assist latter. Get the box on get it back out and enjoy it!!

First thing to do is decide what steering box you're going to use. You mentioned have a Scout "pump"? Please verify.

Gary, he has a scout box and pump.

BaFj4, here is some pics of what I had to do to my stock shock mount.
