Wanted Hydraulic A442f valve body

I’m looking for a hydraulic A442f valve body for my 1991 HDJ81. I’m located in southern Ontario.



My trans doesn’t shift in “D” when cold and I have to manually select each gear and once it warms up I throw it in “D” and it shifts fine. I believe it’s the valve body, I’m looking for a used one as I don’t want to spend the money on a upgraded wholesale valve body and it doesn’t fix my problem

I have the same exact problem on my 1990 HDJ81, if you figure out what's causing it please let me know!!! Do you have synthetic fluid in there? I do and I wonder if that might cause lower pressure when cold which creates shifting difficulties?

Is the valve body from 88 hj61 the same as the 81?
I’ve a trans from a 88 hj61 with the wholesale valve body in it, trans was slipping so I swapped in a H55. Also have a few trans from 86 hj60,also have a rebuilt A442 from a 92 hdj81 with around 10,000 km, the 81 was hitted in the front and I put the engine in my fj55 and the tranny is just sitting here.
