My Husqvarna 340E has decided it no longer likes to sit with a tank of bar oil...it now wants to leak out. Wasnt a problem 1st few years I owned it. Now it likes to mark its spot where ever I set it down.
Freakin mess. Any ideas whats going on before I take it back to the shop. Dont say drain the tank every time I use it please!!!!:grinpimp:
I pulled the bar and cleaned everything up super good...few days later its a sticky oily mess. Also tried the vent the tank trick (crack the tank cap after using it till its cooled down) no worky!!!!!!!!!

:grinpimp:thats great until I forget...usually in the back of my truck.
reading online it seems like its 50/50 your saw either leaks oil out like crazy or does not leak at all.
whats up with that!?!?I guess since my 40 does not leak, I should live with it LOL

It's an inherent Husky thing if you ask me, due to lack of venting the reservior possibly? All I know, every one I'ved owned makes a mess related to ambient outside temps.
