Pulled my dad's and grandfather's boats this morning. Put away e everything I could and tied down what I couldn't . Dropped by the package store. What is everyone else doing for the storm?

put everything that I could inside. Parked vehicles so that if the trees blew over ,then they would miss them. A little shopping. stocked up on batteries. Sitting hear having a homebrew. It is really errie, absolutly no wind. The storm is suposed to track about 30-40 miles east of here- so really heavy rain here. It sounds like you are going to get the high winds Jason. Be safe!

I just posted the same observation about zero wind at all on fb. We cleared the yard, moved vehicles, and did all the shopping stuff too here on the cape. Just very strange to see no wind at all on the cape.

We are up in Burlington, VT....lots of closings and emergency management activity. The University of Vermont closed through Tuesday morning. Expecting intense rain, flooding, etc......friends that work in emergency medicine have been told to expect power outages for 2-5 days. I think the power companies are really spooked.

10 bags of ice in two coolers. I filled the military water container (5 Gallons) and have 15 G in the basement. Should be fine.

I also moved all possible yard missiles to the side yard, near my neighbor that drives me nuts. Lots of rebar, lawn darts, and scrap metal on that side. :)

Went to the first red sox game today until the first rain delay then headed home to put stuff away dont think we are going to get it as bad up here, mostly rain, average heavy winds

Man beer sales must be way up. Everyone I talk to says they are just gonna drink and ride out the storm. Went to the supermarket and everything is picked over. No banana or bread. Crazy.

Thanks. Looks like its been down graded a little. Hopefully the winds won't be as bad. Kinda glad we ate off to the east ad we have had problems with flooding.

Raining moderatly, very little wind. It's coming

I work on an island in the middle of Boston Harbor.
The last few days have been crazy-
Pulled out 10 Sailboats and 1 Boston Whaler out of the water
Pulled Moorings
Took down the Wind Screens at the basket ball courts/tennis courts
Took down canvas walls to one of our Pavillions
Raised our gangways off of our dock
secured jet dock
Took down all signage and banners.

When storms hit us it's just pure rediculous. The storm last year that people say was a bust created a good deal of damage.
The after Christmas day Nor Easter caused about 50k worth of damage.

Lost power at 7 am. Still out.

A 70 ft tall tree in my back yard came down this morning missing the house my about 5 feet. neighbors roof got smashed by another tree. the storm is gone, not as bad as i was expecting.

You are in CT an its already done? Not raining but really windy but still have power.

He must be in the eye.

Got breezy for awhile and not much rain. We've had Fall Gatherings with worse weather!

Yeah was way over hyped. Was great for beer and food sales.

it seems like its gone .no rain but they say more wind is coming.
