Watching.

Trajectory update map. Looks like it'll be in the carolinas Thursday.

@GLTHFJ60 Parents moved to Oriental in June. Headed there Wednesday to ride out the storm with them. They have a whole house generator that runs on propane. Also, the place did not flood in Florence/Matthew.

Stay safe y'all!

@uzj100 oriental is pretty low and floods, it all depends on the directions of the winds. I use to live across the river from there.

South Florida is wet but nothing else. But, someone has to ask..... here I go..... what about Alabama?

Absolutely - this house is on some of the highest land there. I agree with you and will put my folks in my truck and drive out before anything gets crazy.

I’ll be here in N Charleston watching to see how the creek does rise (I’ve got 17’ on our King tide before it gets to my garage floor....)

I had to look that one up on google maps. Be safe if you are headed out there.

We'd half fill the boats with water if they were on trailers, for high winds. During Wilma the surge floated my neighbors flats boat up under the house and crushed the poling platform on the first floor joists. First floor is 12' off the ground
