Swapped the front knuckles for mini to do a disk conversion.

Using a new fj tie rod and relay rod, had the mini steering arms welded shut and redrilled to fit the fj tie rod ends.
When all is assembled I still have what appears to be huge toe out. Can't screw the tie rod ends in any more, they are maxed and bottoming on the tie rod shaft. What do I do? Send the tie and relay rod out to be re threaded deeper? Cut off the ends of the tie rod and hope the tie rod ends screw in deeper? Punt?

Is it possible to install the steering arms backwards, ie, left on right?
Seems like I've heard that when you use the mini arms, you need a custom tierod.
Not much help, sorry.
