Hub Conversion For 77 series

Thanks again for the advice. Hats off to Old Blue for his suggestion on pulling the centering pins out. Last weekend I was able to pull out all four centering pins (two on each hub), and then torque all 6 of the bolts down.

I just installed the AVM 463 on my LJ78 and there are 2 positions after you remove all of the bolts, no need to remove the pins, it lines up perfectly and now you have 6 bolts and 2 pins, what can be better than that? a total of 8 points of contact!. I know that people are talking so much crap about the AVM's but I really love them, it is a breeze to install them and they look very sturdy to me and I am a Mechanical Engineer, the are also very smooth to operate.
