VEHICLE IS SOLD!!! 1973 Dual Purpose DD and Offroader For Sale I've changed directions and no longer need two Land Cruisers. This truck has been a hoot to build and more over, drive. Alot of work and patience has gone into building this truck right. Mechanically this truck is solid. PO spent all the money on aftermarket accessories and I finished it correctly where they left off. Last week I drove this truck on the interstate for a 4 hour trip and have driven it daily to work over the last couple weeks without issue. Serious inquiries please PM me.

I've had a lot of interest in this truck but many of you are concerned about the rear sill rust and rockers. I've got it scheduled with VonHagen Offroad to replace those items with all new metal and paint the truck. It's tentatively still for sale but the price will change once the body work and paint start. PM for questions and pricing! Thanks, Hoz!

I've had some interesting trade offers, however still looking! Cheers!

Well I'm not sure of its yours or not but its a great story anyhow. The person that 'built' the truck put all the right bolt on's in the truck but failed with the wiring harness which was all cut up and nothing really worked, they zipped tied the odo cable under the truck (not sure why) I hooked it up and it works great now. The rear end has been junked, there's no place for a minitruck axle on a built machine like this, I spent all the money and put in a Dana 44 spooled, new disk brakes on the rear...its all in the build up thread. I've always wanted to write a 'buyer beware' thread because you can list all the cool stuff the 'PO' put on the truck without taking direct respondsibility for the truck build and the sell your supposed 'built piece of junk' to an unsuspecting buyer. The entire truck has been rebuilt by myself and VonHagen Offroad. Anyway enough of my rant..thanks for he story though. I'm pretty sure this isn't your truck unless your helping the Jerrys kids build Land Cruisers.

Cool back story. How I wish I had the beans to buy this rig.

Trust me its my old Cruiser, As for the Mini Truck rear... actually I agree, but the rear end I built was a D60 Center Chunk with mini truck outers, with disc brakes. Why?? cause I had a ton of mini rears at the time so it was easy to pull them.. Plus they are 30 spline.

The sliders were the key of how I knew it was mine.. As for the wiring it was a mess when I got it, and I got the bare essentials going just to wheel it. Then I sold it on its first outing.

I'm sure it is. Instead of jacking my thread you could add your comments to my build thread or take it to chat. Cheers!

Bump before she goes in for paint.

Hump Day Bump! Cheers!

Not yet...I have a fella interested in it not painted but of that deal falls through I will paint it. Should know by the end of the week. Thanks, Hoz.
