I've seen a lot with my own eyes. I've watched Mythbusters try and destroy cars with it painted on.

Today I was digging around looking for info on Nitro stuff, and I find a picture that I wasn't sure I could believe.

Here's the obstacle:

And the result afterwards:

Yes, that SOB **PEELED OFF** the bedliner!

Oh trust me I'm not saying it's not good - I think it's great. However, I'd never seen it get peeled off before - I was under the impression that was impossible!

Obviously I was wrong with that impression ;)

If TEFLON is non stick .

Then how does it stick to the pan ?

OMG man, that's so easy. It's only non-stick on one side. When they spray it, it gets sprayed sticky-side down.

Geeze, I thought everyone knew that.

Rocky, I hope you read the sarcasm there.

when the tree took out my tail light and squashed my rear quarter panel the only reason the bed liner came off was because the paint underneath came off. ive got a couple dents from tree roots and branches where the liner was unharmed even though the hit was enough to dent the steel. although rock knocks on my rockers were hard enough to gouge the liner but fixing it is just a matter of touch up with another coat of liner which ill be doing soon.

So Danny, do you think if you completely stripped the paint it would have been even better?

Just doing the proper prep sanding the paint took long enough id never fully strip it all. I cant say it would stick any better to the steel than the original paint and primer
